Organic Mattress Shopping Checklist

Buying an organic mattress?  How do other mattresses compare?  There are so many ways nowadays that companies convey their message with different degrees of truthfulness.  You know, the whole truth and nothing but the truth should be the standard but there are so many areas of concern that it is difficult to make your decision without an objective helper.

Unless you know the questions to ask you won’t know how organic or nontoxic your mattress really is.  At this time, there are no federal standards for organic mattresses.

Note that in this checklist we have listed typical and often the best third party certifying organizations for each component of your mattress.  While a company might not have the exact same certifications as listed below, they should demonstrate the same level of integrity.
